A leaderboard is only worth something if everyone plays fair. Here is what a run must respect to be approved and published.
The rules
Article I
Your own runs
The leaderboard rewards a player, not a video found online.
Accepted: You only submit games you played yourself, from start to finish.
Accepted: The name you enter is the name of the person who played the run.
Refused: Taking another player’s video or run and submitting it under your name.
Article II
The game, as is
The run is played on the official game, with nothing that changes the game or plays it for you.
Accepted: An official, public version of the game, entered exactly as shown in the game.
Accepted: The settings offered by the game: graphics, sound, key bindings, language.
Refused: Beta or test branches, and any modified version of the game.
Refused: Mods, and any modified game or save file.
Refused: Cheat software, trainers, macros, scripts, autoclickers, and any tool that speeds up, slows down or plays the game for you.
Refused: Exploiting a bug to get what the game does not normally allow: inflated gold or score, skipped wave…
Article III
The proof of the game
The moderator only sees your run through its proof, the video or, for an eternal trial, the screenshot: it must show everything.
Accepted: The whole game in a single take, from the loadout screen to the final score.
Accepted: The loadout, the score and the remaining gold are readable on screen.
Accepted: The map, version, loadout, score and remaining gold entered in the form match the video or the screenshot.
Accepted: A link that stays reachable throughout the review, as a public or unlisted video (YouTube, Twitch…).
Accepted: For an eternal trial, a screenshot of the end screen, with the total score readable, replaces the video.
Refused: Cuts, editing, and sped-up or slowed-down parts.
Refused: A webcam or overlay hiding the loadout, the score or the remaining gold.
Refused: A screenshot that is edited, cropped so as to hide information, or taken from another game.
Article IV
Review and publication
Every run is reviewed by hand before it appears on the leaderboard.
A moderator checks the video or the screenshot: only approved runs appear on the leaderboard.
If something is missing, they may write to you at the email address entered in the form.
A run that does not follow these rules is refused and is not published.
A run already published is removed from the leaderboard if a breach is found later.
Article V
In case of cheating
Cheating means taking the place of a player who earned it.
The run in question is refused, or removed from the leaderboard if it was already published.
If the player’s other runs look suspicious, the moderators may remove them too.
Any question?
Appeal or report
Does a run look suspicious? Report it with the form, naming the player and the map concerned. To appeal a decision, contact the moderators on Discord or by email.
