Records and teams
By submitting a record, you grant the publisher, free of charge, the right to display on the website your nickname, your flag, your team, the results of your game and its proof (the link to its video or its screenshot), for as long as the record is on the leaderboard.
You keep your rights and may ask for your record to be removed at any time. You guarantee that you played the submitted game yourself and that you are entitled to share its video or screenshot.
A team created from the record submission form (its name, tag and colour) is visible to everyone: other players can find and pick it. The publisher may rename or delete a team whose name or tag is inappropriate; its records then stay on the leaderboard, under the new name or without a team.

Personal data
The data controller is the publisher of the website, who can be reached at contact@nysux.fr.
When you submit a record, the website stores:
- your nickname and, if any, your flag and your team, published on the leaderboard with the run once it is approved;
- the video link or, for an eternal trial, the screenshot of the end screen, along with the map, game version, loadout, score and remaining gold, published in the same way;
- your email address, used only by the moderators to contact you about your run, and never displayed;
- your Discord name, optional, used in the same way and never displayed.
This data is only used to review your run and publish it on the leaderboard: this processing is necessary to act on the request you make by sending the form (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
To limit abusive submissions, a fingerprint of your IP address, computed with a secret key so that the address itself is not stored, is also kept temporarily, for three hours at most, without being linked to your run (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Only the publisher and the leaderboard moderators have access to it. It is stored on the website’s server, in France, and is never sold, transferred or used for advertising.
It is kept while the run is moderated. A rejected run is then anonymized 30 days after its rejection: your nickname, your email address, your Discord name, your team and the link to the video are erased. For a validated run, your email address and your Discord name are erased 90 days after its validation, and the rest is kept for as long as the run is on the leaderboard. On request, your run is anonymized in the same way: only its results, your country and its thumbnail remain.
When you send a report, the website stores its reason, its details, the page concerned if you give it and your email address, which is only used to answer you and is never displayed. This data is only used to handle the report and keep the website reliable (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR); a fingerprint of your IP address is kept temporarily under the same conditions as for a record. It is kept while the report is handled, then for 30 days at most after it is closed: your email address and the details are then erased, and only the reason, the content concerned and the decision remain, without any personal data.
Like any web server, the website logs every request it receives, whether you submit a record or not: the date, the address of the requested page and of the referring page, the browser used and a truncated IP address, whose last part is erased before anything is recorded. These logs are only used to keep the website running and secure (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR); they are never shared with third parties and are deleted after thirty days at most.
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, and to object to its processing. To exercise these rights, write to contact@nysux.fr.
If, after contacting us, you believe your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL).
Audience measurement
To know which pages are read, the website measures its own traffic, without any third-party service or cookie. For each page view, it stores:
- the address of the page and of the referring page, and the date and length of the visit;
- the browser and operating system used (user agent), the language and the screen size;
- a truncated IP address, whose last part is erased before anything is stored.
To link the pages of a single visit, the number of the page view is kept in the browser’s session storage, which clears it when the tab is closed.
This data is only used to compile traffic statistics (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). It is never shared with third parties and is kept for thirteen months at most.
To limit abusive requests, a fingerprint of your full IP address is also kept for two hours at most, without being linked to the page views.
You can nevertheless object to this measurement at any time by unticking the box below: none of your visits is counted any more. Measurement needs JavaScript: when it is disabled, you are not counted and the box is not shown.
